Who we are
Karthik Bhat Studios is operated by Karthik Bhat as a sole proprietorship based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This notice explains how information is handled through karthikbhatstudios.com and enquiries initiated through the website.

Information you provide
The enquiry form asks for your name and WhatsApp number. You may also provide your wedding date, venue or city, event details, coverage preferences, approximate guest count and a message. Optional details can be left blank. When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to share through that service. Please avoid including identity documents, payment credentials or unnecessary personal information about other people in a website enquiry.
WhatsApp, phone and email
The form prepares a WhatsApp message in your browser; it does not submit the form entries to a KBS website database. Clicking “Check availability on WhatsApp” passes the entered details to WhatsApp in a link to prepare the draft, even if you do not subsequently send the message. The link may remain in your browser history. You can review and edit the draft before sending it. KBS receives the enquiry message when you send it.
The floating WhatsApp button opens a standard greeting. Phone and email links open the services configured on your device. Those services have their own privacy practices. You can contact us directly by email or phone instead of using the WhatsApp form. See WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
How we use and store enquiries
We use enquiry information to respond, understand requirements, prepare quotations, follow up on the enquiry, arrange bookings and provide customer service. Access is limited to KBS management and specifically authorised customer-care personnel.
Enquiry information may be retained in KBS business communications and internal records, including email, phone/WhatsApp communications and operational records. Customer information is not sold. Enquiry details are not automatically reused for unrelated promotional marketing; any such use requires an appropriate basis and consent where required.
Website hosting and service providers
Cloudflare Pages hosts the website. Cloudflare delivers and protects website traffic and processes technical information such as IP addresses, request/routing information and device or system information for website operation, availability and security. Disabling browser analytics does not stop this operational processing. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
The homepage requests Google Fonts from Google’s servers. These connections disclose network/request information needed to deliver fonts; they are separate from Google Analytics. See Google Fonts information and Google’s privacy policy. Photographs and films are delivered as website assets rather than embedded YouTube or Vimeo players.
WhatsApp handles the draft and messages you choose to send through it. Email communications use the published Gmail address and the sender’s email service. These providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside India under their applicable arrangements. We do not promise India-only storage.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tags and Meta Pixel are not installed on this website. Cloudflare’s RUM/Web Analytics beacon is disabled. Existing interaction events stay in page memory without an installed analytics destination.
The website’s own code does not set analytics cookies or save form entries in local storage. Hosting and security services may use operational cookies depending on the protections applied to a request; this is not a promise that every visit is cookie-free. See Cloudflare’s cookie information. External communication services apply their own practices when you use them.
Any future analytics or advertising implementation will be assessed separately. Before activation, we will update this notice and provide the notices, choices and consent controls required for that implementation. This notice does not treat browsing as blanket consent to future marketing tracking.
Information sharing
In addition to the provider processing described above, enquiry information may be shared only where reasonably necessary to provide the requested service or where you authorise it. We limit access to authorised people who need the information for those purposes.
Retention and security
Under the policy adopted on the effective date of this notice, unconverted enquiries are retained for up to 12 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a legitimate business or legal reason requires longer. Confirmed client and business records may be retained longer where reasonably required for contracts, payments, accounting, tax, disputes, project records or operational requirements.
Where routine backups are used, deleted information may remain temporarily until normal overwrite or expiry. Our safeguards include access limited to authorised persons, password-protected accounts/devices and reasonable operational safeguards. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to complete the form or leave optional fields blank. Email our privacy contact to ask about information you have shared, request correction or deletion, raise a concern, or ask us to stop optional follow-up. We may need proportionate information to verify a request and will explain any information that needs to be retained and why. Any applicable legal rights and exceptions depend on the law governing the request.
Requests about information independently controlled by an external service may also need to be directed to that provider.
Photographs, films and children
KBS’s policy is to use client photographs or films for portfolio or promotional purposes only where appropriate permission or another valid basis exists. Creating or covering an event does not automatically authorise public promotional use. Material involving children requires greater caution and an appropriate permission basis.
If you have a concern or removal request about an image or film featuring you or a child in your care, contact our privacy email with the page or item concerned so it can be reviewed. This policy is not a representation that written permission has been individually verified for every currently published item.
Updates to this notice
